MediPlus™-Comfort foam border Ag island dressing, 8" x 8" 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" pad size, sterile. The MediPlus™ Comfort Foam Border Ag is an island dressing on a polyurethane adhesive border to allow fixation without secondary dressing or fixation tape.
- Polyurethane foam provides a cushioning effect and high absorption capacity up to 20 g/g
- The polyurethane film outermost layer is highly breathable, up to 5000 g/m2/24hr MVTR
- It is also bacteria-proof and waterproof
- The perforated polyurethane film in MediPlus™ Comfort Foam prevents adherence of the foam pad to the wound bed, allowing for removal with reduced pain and trauma
- It acts as a filter for thick exudates and slough which are more likely to block the foam surface and hinder its absorption capacity
